Workshops & Events
We run and host arts workshops and courses such as sewing, art, papier mache and festive crafts from our ArtSpace on Heapy Street.
We are commissioned to run free family crafts in Macclesfield and surrounding areas at events such as Macclesfield Town Council’s Do Something Summer, Spooky Saturday and Step into Christmas. In addition we have been commissioned to deliver the annual Lunar parade and summer parade in Macclesfield.

Mini Make Its Half term Drop In
Recycling plastic milk bottles into Elmer lanterns or make a traditional withy and tissue pyramid lantern. Fun for all ages!

Lantern Festival
with Macclesfield Town Council
Lunar new Year Parade 2026
with Macclesfield Town Council
Join us with your lanterns from 4.30pm outside the Silk Museum. The parade will then walk to the market place where there will be lots of entertainment to light up the town centre. .
When: Saturday 24th January 2026
Time: From 4.30pm. Parade sets off at 5pm.
Location: Silk Museum.
It's year of the horse.
Join us for one of the busiest events in town. We need you to make lots of noise to call out the dragon then follow the parade down Mill St to activities at the URC and Silk museum.
When: Saturday 14th February 2026
Time: Help Conundrum call the dragon at 11.00am on Castle Street
Location: Parade sets off at 11.20am from the Castle St entrance of the Grosvenor Centre.
